Oceanside’s smallest beach; areas outside of the flags is open to surfing and all water activities. Buccaneer Park, located across the street, has a grassy area, picnic tables, and several picnic tables.
Oceanside Boulevard Beach
Lots of beach area, with an area primarily designated for swimmers, waders, and body boarders.
Wisconsin Street Beach
Oceanside’s most narrow beach, but is open to all water activities.
Tyson Street Beach
Within walking distance of the pier, Tyson Street Beach is a great place for picnics and relaxing. Tyson Street Park access from Pacific Street; the park has a large grassy area, benches and a playground.
Pier View South
Oceanside’s most popular beach, complete with surfing, body boarding and body surfing. Picnic tables, benches, barbecues and fire rings in the sand are available.
A quiet family beach south of Oceanside harbor, perfect for surfing and a pickup game of volleyball.
Pier View North
A relaxed atmosphere, with volleyball courts and near the Oceanside Beach Community Center, which is located on The Strand. Open for all water activities.
Oceanside’s largest beach, adjacent to the Oceanside Harbor. Activities include deep-sea fishing, whale watching, and kayaking.
