Summer@ArtQuest is an summer art camp that will take place June 25-28, 2013, Tuesday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the front terrace of the Oceanside Museum of Art.
Open to children 8-12 years old.
The mission of Summer@ArtQuest is to foster and promote the study and appreciation of modern and contemporary art, in particular, art and artists from California. Children will view OMA’s current and past exhibits to learn about various art mediums and will then participate in a variety of hands-on art projects. The mediums used will include painting, drawing, sculpture and graphic design. In addition, we will emphasize the elements and principles of art and the workings of a museum. Children will be involved in both individual and group projects. And we will have fun with art!
Registration is not complete until all the required forms have been completed, Registration Form, Parental Permission and Medical Form and you have received an email confirmation.
